the prospering power of love goes on the road
“this situation is really full of love for me and i am full of love for it.
¡ praise divine love in this manner now, i behold this situation in love.”
-Catherine Ponder
when my car was traveling along on road repair Route 128, suddenly i heard a pop.
it sounded like my tire. i kept driving. i thought, “that can’t be my tire really.”
i drove a little faster, thinking if it was, i better hurry and get home. i was about
eight miles away in Westford, heading to Fairfax. my groceries were in the back
from Sweet Clover, and i was sure no evil event could occur. as i continued to drive
on the rough, rocky sucky road, it occurred to me that the car was a little hard to handle.
i called Steve and said i heard a pop, he said it was probably just a rock hitting the car. i kept on driving. pretty soon, the car was really pulling to the right and i thought my tire is going out, can i make a run for it and get all the home, or will i be driving on the rim?
the friendly voice that helps me said keep driving to the Westford green, when i got
there, i pulled into the little parking lot, and found there was no signal on my cell phone. again, i said this can’t be true that there’s no signal, there will be signal enough, so i dialed Ross’s Auto in Fairfax, and quickly explained what happened. the signal held out. i didn’t get panicky, i didn’t get reactivated, i knew only good could happen.
Cliff explained he was just about closing down to which i said, “i’m only about four miles away, on the Westford green,” to which he said ok i’ll send the truck over.
i thanked him and hung up.
i looked at my phone and there was no signal. i called Steve, he was home early, and he answered. i quickly yelled, “come and get me, i have a flat tire on the
Westford green.” he said ok. i reminded myself this situation is really full of love for me.
i shut off the motor, and started scanning with volume one of the Zohar, which i keep
in the car as an arm rest. i got through three pages of scanning and there was Steve
at the front of the car, the truck man with the tow, at the back of the car. i said,
“i praise Divine love in this matter.” i am so grateful.” Steve put the groceries
in his jeep. the tow man sucked the car up the back on his truck, we thanked him
and off we went. it’s true…you can love your way through any troublesome situation.
amen and halleluia
