i heard that paradise was like that…
whatever was required was always present.
“what a deal.” i used to think,
“who would be lucky enough to live like that?”
i never thought that kind of good fortune would be accessible.
it was hard to believe that Adam and Eve
got thrown out of a deal like that in the Old Testament. “what was their problem?” i would inquire to myself.
i am laying outside on the hill by the pool. it is a picture postcard afternoon.
dandelion greens are all over this grassy hill.
i don’t have to go to the pharmacy.
i am eating dandelion greens to vitalize my system. they are a free liver tonic, growing all over this incline. oregano is sprouting. pink clover is everywhere. blackberries, blueberries, apples,
mint and thyme grow profusely each year.
i think this is paradise.
